We Are Proud To Partner With Law Enforcement

Our partnerships with law enforcement agencies across the country have been foundational to the success of Project ChildSafe in promoting firearm safety and helping reduce firearm accidents, thefts and misuse.

Law enforcement personnel at all levels serve on the front line public safety – we’re grateful for your support and are committed to providing the resources you need to help make your communities safer. If your agency is not already a Project ChildSafe partner to receive our free locks and educational tools, we encourage you to connect with us today through our gun lock request form (see below).

Gun Lock Request Form

Law Enforcement partners are invited to order our free firearm safety kits via the form below. After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation message, and the locks should arrive in 2-3 weeks. There’s no cost to your agency – The National Shooting Sports Foundation provides these locks as a public service. (We even cover the shipping.)

Talking Firearm Safety with Kids and Teens

Talking to kids about gun safety is just as important as talking with them about “strangers,” drugs and alcohol abuse. Research has shown that younger kids especially respond well to firearm safety instructions if they come from a uniformed law enforcement officer.
